About us
Our family has always been engaged in wine and olive growing and fishing, hence the nickname – riborovi.
As far back as in 1965, the foundation stone of today's house was laid.
Our parents, pioneers of tourism, enthusiasts, used to go to Hvar by boat to pick up their guests (since there was no road) and took them to the boarding house "Pod borom".
Further tourism growth led to the opening of the restaurant "Pod borom", which used to be the only restaurant in the area.
Despite the tourism, we remained faithful to our family tradition, wine and olive growing, so we still produce our olive oil and wine from strictly ecologically cultivated vineyards.
We proudly grow grapes mali ploavac and pošip, the heritage of our grandfathers, because for us tradition is a binding force.
Today, after the house has been converted into apartments, we sit on the terrace watching the sea and writing this text. We are trying to render the charms of this perfectly positioned Villa "Pod borom".
We strive to make this place more beautiful and better every year, because we are much obliged to you, our guests!
